Schweppes Bitter Lemon?

Has anyone seen Schweppes Bitter Lemon for sale in the area? I'd love to find somewhere to get a regular supply.

Try calling Union Jack in Peabody. They've had it in the past, and is imported from the UK. Last time I saw it there, it was in 6 pack cans. Good luck.

Schweppes stopped distributing Bitter Lemon in the States some years ago, alas (I actually contacted their HQ to verify this fact). Bummer, as it's one of my favorite summer highball mixers for gin. However, I have found one source of bottles, not cheap ($1.50 per 12-oz bottle or metric equivalent), I'm guessing imported from the British West Indies (worn-looking enamel-label bottles). They're in the far back corner of Tropical Market in Roxbury, Washington Street near Melnea Cass Blvd.

Meisje must be Dutch. In addition to Bitter Lemon, I wonder: has anyone seen other Dutch soda classics for sale in the area such as Hero Cassis (not the french syrup but the soda), Spa Citroen or Spa Cactus?

I can't guarantee it, but Farmer's Bounty in Davis Square used to carry it and when not, tend to have the Polar product. I don't recall seeing the Schweppes on my lsat visit. Kiki's in Brighton is another decent bet, I think their backup was the Canada Dry version instead of Polar, but I haven't been in a few months.
