I'm heading to Krungthep mahanakhon amonratanakosin mahintara ayuthaya mahadilok, popnopharat ratchathani burirom ubonratchaniwet mahasathan amonpiman avatansathit sakkathattiya witsanukamprasit (Bangkok) in a couple weeks and looking for the best buffets in the city - be they brunch or otherwise.

Thanks in advance.

Okay this info is probably too late for you.. but.. the best place to find out about what buffet brunches are on in Bangkok is either in the weekly BK Mag (free all over the place in hipper shops, record stores etc.. ) it is also on line but this isn't updated as much... BKK is really big on promotions such as happy hours all you can eat etc etc... two of the best ones in my mind are the ones at Wine Pub at the Pullman Hotel - great atmosphere and great deals if you want wine included in your meal... also Fusio Italian restaurant in Ekamai has an incredibly good lunch deal going this month... (Fusio is considered one of the best Italians in town and has a great view too.. and not a tourist spot!)
There are also lots of of Japanese Buffets around - all you can eat Shabu shabu and sushi etc.. haven't tried them yet but they always seem packed - there is one in the Zen complex near the walkway off the sky train..
A famous Indian lunch buffet is served at Rang Mahal on Sundays if you can face curry at the end of your weekend.
