What to Order at Victor Tango's?
What to order? I'm going there tomorrow night and could use some advice. I hear the chicken and waffles are good, do y'all agree? I read that they put gravy on the chicken and waffles which is slightly off putting for me but maybe it works. If you've had chick+waffles there and elsewhere, is it particularly good at VTs? Any other menu suggestions or drink suggestions? Thanks.

The Passionfruit Gimlet is delicious. My husband got the Victor Tango last time we went. Very refreshing and unique.
I didn't LOVE the food, but it's okay. Everything was very heavy and greasy. Like the Short Rib Pot Stickers were deep fried....I would've hoped they would've called it wontons, so we knew it was going to be friend. Pot stickers imo, are always steamed or pan seared. It tasted pretty good, but I'm not used to eating so much fried food, so it just wasn't what I hoped for.
The Lobster BLTs surprised me. They were cold....like a chicken salad. Again, wasn't bad, but not what I was expecting.

My favorite drink is the French 75 and the Airmail. They're both similar and champagne based, but the Airmail isn't on the menu so I guess if the bartender knows it they'll still make it for you. Sometimes it's on the specials board.
I do always get the chicken and waffles (even though sometimes the waffles are overdone, weird right?), mussels, lollypop lambchops, french fries (love the dip), and I think last time I got braised pork belly, but I can't remember if it was on the regular menu or if it was a special.
I was not a big fan of the lobster sliders, but I have read very good reviews about them from other places, so it might just not be the right taste for me. :)
Have fun!
