Is Paco's in Orlando/Winter Park any good?
I always see a crowd of people heading in there for lunch (on Fairbanks, between I-4 and 17/92), but I've never been. Anyone been there? How is it?

The food is very good, but last time we had an uncomfortable experience with some pushy, proselytizing old ladies when we were all waiting for tables. To our relief, we got seated first, but of course they ended up at the table right next to ours moments later. I think that experience affected my enjoyment of the meal, and I haven't been back since.
Try the chimichangas, though. They were top-notch!

re: Big Bad Voodoo Lou
Paco's is Florida mexican before mexican came to florida. There was a time when Florida didn't have mexican places owned by mexican families. Not until the late 90's did real mexican joints and taco trucks start springing up. Before that there was Paco's!
Lou is right,,they do have good chimi's However,,knowing that El Potro is in the area I probably wouldn't go there again. Don't get me wrong ,,its not bad food,,just not real mexican. A good way to tell a good mexican place?? THE CHEESE!!
