Lupa or Marc Forgione

I'll try this again...

Which is better spot overall for a group of 10?

I would just be aware of the very high price that Forge charges for cocktails. We were there a few weeks ago and were quite surprised by the price of my husband's scotch's--the drinks were a small pour, and $18 apiece!

I ate at both and I am one of the few that did not like Lupa so I will not steer you towards it I did not like the food nor the service. The tables are cramped together and the wine is not served at the right temperature...it is almost boiling hot!

I loved Marc Forgione when I went there this summer. It is cozy, comfortable and the food is great.

Forgione, hands down. The food is superb and the service is generally excellent. They also have nice big tables so you'll be able to sit comfortably. The chicken under a brick is a standout, but you can safely order just about anything.
