May sound strange, but I just saw a decent selection at Superstore here in Edmonton. Might be worth a try.

Hirsche Fraser Meats in Okotoks makes it as per a recipe provided by a restaurant in Okotoks, The Best of New Orleans, and it is sold retail as well at Hirsche Fraser. Just found this out a couple of days ago, and am going to Okotoks this weekend to get some.

Spolumbos is not true andouille as it is fresh, not smoked. Don't bother. Real andouliie is heavily smoked.

If you can't get it there, you can probably get it a Spolumbo's -- not sure if it's authentic, never tried it myself.

authentic ,does that mean a french or cajun made them?just wondering what authentic means nowadays.if a white guy makes sushi and its the best does that mean its not authentic?just something im pondering
