Clio Tasting Menu Or Gracies?
I have an anniversary dinner up, and I was wondering if anyone had an insight into whether they I should go for the tasting menu's at Clio's (in Boston) or Gracie's.
Gracie's 7 tasting runs at 90 dollars,
I believe Clio's 9 for 115? Or around there at least.
We're a teeny bit tight on budget, and was wondering what would be a better bang for the buck. :)
cheers

I would pass on both. I had a horrible experience at Clio. They are just so full of themselves. While the food is good the portions are very, very small. I was not impressed and have not gone back ad don't think I ever will. Gracies is ok, but I think they have really gone down hill since they moved off of Federal Hill. While they do, do tasting menu's I think the consept there has become run of the mill and very over priced. I would go to Chez Pascal on Hope street and have their tasting menu. It's less expensive than both Clio ad Gracies, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It's a Winner
