Clio tasting menu or Gracie's?
I have an anniversary dinner up, and I was wondering if anyone had an insight into whether they I should go for the tasting menu's at Clio's or Gracie's (which is in Providence, but have always been a lovely experience for me.)
Gracie's 7 tasting runs at 90 dollars,
I believe Clio's 9 for 115? Or around there at least.
We're a teeny bit tight on budget, and was wondering what would be a better bang for the buck. :)
I know that Clio's is excellent, you may think about Ten Tables in Cambridge. I had my birthday dinner there and it was $40 for 4 courses and palate cleanser of concord grape sorbet. It is now one of my favorites. It is not afancy place but the quality was outstanding and it si my biggest find in years.
Never done the Clio menu but the Gracie's tasting menu with wine pairings was one of the best meals I've had in New England.
