Busines Lunch around St Francis off of Asylum in Hartford??

A safe generic business lunch for several people who dont know the area....

How 'bout Feng? Great Asian food, nice atmosphere. 93 Asylum St.
Second Firebox- it's my personal fave in Hartford.
Pond House is nice, but better in the summer and spring, perhaps (Elizabeth Park, and all...)
Max Downtown-Very "buisness-y" and chic. Use the expense acct. and write it off!

I love Feng and Max's also... but I think for out of towners coming from Asylum Hill...looking for lunch... it's easier to get to and park at Firebox.....

Why bother driving? There's at least two bus lines that go right down Asylum to downtown. Plenty of options without having to park at all.

I definately agree that firebox would be your best option. If you are not using an expense account they are on restaurant.com now. It might only be for dinner but it is worth checking out!

I would go to Firebox on Broad St... Great food...good atmosphere for a business lunch...It's about a five minute or less drive from St Francis...

Go East on Asylum (towards downtown)... right on Broad St at The Hartford insurance Bldg...pass the Htfd Courant Bldg... next block on right... they have free parking lot...

I also love Feng, but parking downtown is a PITA. I used to go when I could walk from my office.

How about the Pond House in Elizabeth Park? Here is my summertime review--I went with a friend for fun, but can't see why it wouldn't be appropriate for a business lunch:
