Manhattan store with 60 kinds of licorice+

This place was written up in the New York Times and is worth a visit if you really like licorice and/or other sweets. MYZEL'S, 140 W. 55th St. The owner is a real New York character.

    So exciting! Only the late lamented Broadway Nut Shop had a great selection.

      When the Broadway Nut Shop closed the owner started a mail order business on Long Island. That was sold and is now Licorice International on the web. Here you can read about it's odyssey:
