Jacob's Andouille in town

Anybody know where to find a stick of Jacob's andouille in town? Martin's Wine in Metairie used to carry it but not anymore. Thanks in advance!

Actually you will not be able to find it anymore. Jacob's andouille was not following food and safety regulations and restaurants and businesses are no longer allowed to purchase it

      Wayne Jacobs? or Jacobs?

Is this correct about Jacob's safety issue? I did notice on the Luke menu that they've exchanged Jacob's for Poche's. Anybody have any more info on this?

Have em ship it to you if you can't find some. I thought Martin's carried it too. They have a store in Mandeville or Covington I think. Check there. Here's Jacob's website.

It's in LaPlace, actually. They had a fire recently in one of the smokehouses, so you may want to call ahead about availability.

I prefer Bailey's andouille and tasso, one block away in LaPlace. But it's all good.
