Christmas Eve Dinner Restaurants 2009

Last year my man and I went to Grace- a beautiful, cozy restaurant but I was a little unhappy with the main course that I chose- prime rib. I love that it is romantic, warm, and has fantastic service- I just wasn't thrilled with the food (which is unusual because it's one of our favorite spots).

I don't want to stray too far from Hollywood because I'd like to cab it so I can drink some wine. Any suggestions on a romantic dinner for two for Christmas Eve that won't be too loud, too hip or too crowded? Service is very important as is good food and a warm and cozy environment. I'm also curious about any new restaurants although I've heard mixed things about places like Bouchon in Beverly Hills.

We don't want to feel rushed and we don't want to feel like we're on top of each other (and strangers sitting next to us). I appreciate your recommendations!

Probably a good idea to check their holiday plans first.

    1. Providence is doing a traditional Italian seafood dinner on Christmas Eve. The menu sounds wonderful, and I think the service and atmosphere there is lovely.
