Sounds like you have a great line-up. Definitely Motorino over Lombardi's. Does motorino do lunch? I've only ever had dinner there.
Let me go on record as saying drop Convivio from your line-up. I personally found it to be a little less good than the hype surrounding it. If you're going to Scarpetta there's no need for Convivo as well, since they have a similar "heritage." Scott Conant was there and his influence over the menu is still pretty strong.. Wednesday would be a good slot for Degustation.
Prepare to wait for Ippudo, even at lunch.

That's baloney! Other than that they are both Italian, Michael White's style of cuisine is not remotely like Scott Conant's. Thus, there is not even a sliver of Conant's influence on the menu at Convivio or, for that matter, at Alto, where Conant was the original chef.

re: RGR
Well I've only been to Convivio once, and it was probably a year ago. So I'm not prepared to argue whether or not they're similar. RGR is probably correct.
But I still stand by my opinion that Scarpetta is the better restaurant of the two. If I were in the OP's position, I would opt for Scarpetta over Convivo and pick one of the alternates. But again... it's only my opinion and there's no need to fight. :-)

re: egit
When Michael White took over what was then L'Impero, there were some holdovers from Conant's menu. That often happens when a new chef comes on board until his or her own menu is implemented, which can take a few months. So, it's possible that you were there during that intermediate time period. White's own menu was already in place when the decision was made to close L'Impero, refurbish, and change the name to Convivio, at which point, White also retooled the entire again.
Imo, Scarpetta is not the better of the two. Both are excellent, each in its own way.

re: egit
Motorino not only serves lunch, they are running a pretty good special M-F: $12 for your choice between 4 pizzas, and either salad or the soft serve of the day.

re: dparaskakis
Looks good, but don't go to Lombardi's; it's a tourist trap now. Motorino or Kesté would be great choices for Neapolitan pizza. NB: they are relatively expensive, small, and rather "wet" (as extra virgin olive oil is generously applied) pizzas, but excellent if you like the style.
