Dessert in Montreal
I would like to go out with friends for dessert/coffee for my birthday.
So far, I have thought of Juliette et Chocolate. I would like to avoid Rockaberry at all costs. Ideally I would love a place that has both dessert and live jazz.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!!

I'd be surprised if there are good restaurants with Jazz in Town, we're not jazz city (surprising considering the world reknowed jazz fest).
Anyway, 2 suggestions for dessert in two different neighbourhoods :
Pop/Laloux, on Pine st. near St-Denis they have great desserts (originally from Patrice Demers), Pop sometimes have a piano player there; after that, you could go to a couple of jazz places on St-Denis (Diese-Onze, ... )
Newtown, now the residency of Patrice Demers on Crescent st.; you probably could find a few jazz places around there.

I don't know anything about their desserts, but the place has gotten good reviews both here and in the media.
