Good Lebanese

Hi, Can anyone suggest a good lebanese restaurant? Also one that serves toum-lebanese garlic dipping sauce?

Thank you!

thank you I will give llili and al bustan a try.

@pikawicca, i'm not sure if it's that typical but most of the Lebanese shawarma joints i frequented in ottawa/montreal had toum as a side, I haven't come across it so far in nyc.

Lebanese isn't one of NYC's strong points. I don't recall seeing toum the entire time I lived there. Other middle eastern cuisines are much stronger, particularly for shawarma.

Al Bustan is great. Not on the menu, but thy will serve Kibbe Naiyeh, my favorite Lebanese dish. I don't think of Toum as being a typical Lebanese restaurant offering, but if you call ahead, they might be able to provide it. I make Toum at home.

I've only been once, but I thought Naya was quite good. I don't know if they have the sauce you are looking for though. You can check the menu here:
