Christmas Lunch/Dinner in Barcelona

Hi there,

As relative newcomers to Barcelona, we are looking for a rec for Christmas lunch or dinner, preferably in the city centre, from inexpensive to expensive - we're open to any ideas!

Thanks everyone!

Thanks Parigi. We were hoping for a few more options to choose from, so if anyone else can recommend anything, please let me know - we'd love our first Christmas living in Barcelona to be a really memorable one (for all the right reasons!).

    Thanks all.

I contacted a lot of restaurants in Barcelona and most were closed on Christmas day. The best restaurants I found that are open and still have available tables are Moo and Tragaluz. I didn't have much luck otherwise. Also be sure to reserve for the 24th if you plan to be in Barcelona and need a restaurant. Most places are also closed that day.

We went to the W Hotel for Christmas lunch. Amazing. Literally, only one word is needed to describe the entire experience, from booking through to the food, the location and the service.

Would wholeheartedly recommend the W Hotel restaurants and bars if you're looking to celebrate a special event.

The last time we spent xmas in Barcelona we ended up having a great lunch at the Cerveceria Catalana in Eixample. It is one of very few of the good places that are open on xmas day.
In fact we are going there this xmas, again for lunch. Maybe see you there.
