Boccalone Lard Caramels & Shortbread cookies?

Anyone try the Boccalone lard caramels & Boccalone's shortbread cookies? The lard caramels are 4pcs/$3.50!

Jack Godby of Humphry Slocombe makes them. He's going to introduce line of candy bars: matzoh toffee & milk chocolate dipped in dark chocolate w/ smoked salt.

I got the lard caramels on the first day that they had them, and I'd only give them a lukewarm recommendation. I love anything caramel, and they weren't awful, but they are very very greasy; my fingers were coated in oil after eating one. The caramel flavor also wasn't deep enough for my taste. They may have refined the recipe some since then, though.
