Dinner with my granddaughter near Radio City

I'll be taking my 8 year old granddaughter to see the Christmas show in a few weeks. Does anyone have any ideas about a place I can take her for dinner? She is an experienced restaurant goer, and eats a variety of different foods. I was just wondering if there's any fun places close by.

I came on to search for the same question. We are going tomorrow with a 7 year old. In years past, we have dined at Cafe Un Deux Troix that was quite good with a "restaurant-ready" child http://www.cafeundeuxtrois.biz/flash/... . We also have done Virgil's BBQ several times and Tony's di Napoli. All were decent but I want something different this year. Wanted to toss out that Cafe idea; I think you'd be happy.

What would be fun? What different foods? How close? What price range? Traditionally, one would claim to have a million places in mind but stop there to wait for further information, or provide a suggestion that what you really should do is try a place in Brooklyn. I'll break with tradition and ask if someplace like Blockheads would fit within your requirements?

John's Pizzeria on 44th and 8th is perfect for kids that like food. The food is good the space is interesting and the price is right.

Bar Americain is a good option close to Radio City. For something a little more upscale and adventurous, you might try The Modern or Nobu 57.
