What's the best Po'Boy in the French Quarter?
Family is visiting for Thanksgiving. I usually am partial to Guy's on Magazine, but would like to know where to go in the French Quarter.
I think Johnny's is overrated/average. Never tried Verti Mart. Maybe Stanley's?
Stanley only has 4 poboys on the menu, eggs benedict, oyster, korean and softshell, while they are good migt not work for you. I agree about Johnny's, but I don't know of anyplace else in the quarter to get a roast beef poboy, which is in my opinion the poboy to judge all others by.

I realize this was origianlly posted a year ago but thought I'd throw in my 2-cents for anyone who might be wondering the same thing presently or in the future.
The two places that I know of in the Quarter that have excellent Hot Roast Beef Po Boys are Chartres House on Chartres St and Toulouse St, and Pierre Masperro's Restaurant on Chartres and St. Louis.
