Christmas Dinner Rec Near Sutton Place

A group of about 20 colleagues will be descending upon Toronto in early December. I thought that it would be nice to go out for an early Christmas dinner. We will be staying at the Sutton Place. Would appreciate any suggestions for something in the $50-75 range (including a glass of wine) within walking (or couple of Subway stops) of the Sutton Place Hotel. Thanks.

Bistro 990 is right across the street typical French country food. If you want to go a couple of subway stops south Adega is on Elm Street and offers Portuguese/Mediterranean food. On the same street there is a gastro-pub called the Queen and Beaver, much more casual but a nice spot.
