Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Minneapolis and St. Paul

Loved my lunch! Mango Thai St. Paul

Yesterday a friend suggested Mango Thai on Selby for lunch. I had seen it many times and never tried it. Well! It is charming inside. One of those places that makes you believe you're not in St. Paul anymore. We had spring rolls with mango, I had a seared tuna salad with a (delicious), sinus-clearing wasabi dressing. She had one of the curries. All was notably fresh and delicious, and the service was great.

    1. We like Mango Thai too. We've only gotten takeout dinner from there, but everything we've tried has been very tasty-- several curries and the laarb salad. Our only problem is that it's all very very spicy! Mind you, we're not spiciness wimps, but the spice level is approaching Bangkok Thai Deli, except that even when we've asked Mango to tone it down a bit, it's still very very spicy.... I dunno... maybe we need to shed our embarrassment and say, "please, we are wimpy, give us your least spicy curry!"
