Ping Pong Dim Sum

Well as we continue to wait for the delayed reopening of Hollywood East, I thought I'd throw this out. Just got back from a trip to London, and enjoyed dinner at one of the Ping Pong Dim Sums (a small chain of places in Metropolitan London). Somewhat hip, cartless atmosphere. The manager said they would soon be opening their first US location, in downtown DC (supposedly in Penn Quarter).

Anyone familiar with this place, and/or know more specifically where their location will be and its opening date? Thanks.

Me too I have been waiting for a different place for Dim Sum in DC area so hopefully this one will do the job.

I sent them a msg on Twitter but I guess no one is checking that.

Will go once it opens so i hope to hear from your experiences.

      Cheers.

          I sent a message =P lol

I am really craving good Chinese food for this weekend, but I just have a hard time finding places that are not that greasy.

I ate at one in London in May (just off Carnaby Street) and it was decent food but I wasn't blown away. It was more style than substance, a little more P.F Chang's than Chinese.

They'll be at 900 7th St NW in Chinatown, supposedly opening Dec. 12th.

I tipped off Prince of Petworth blog about it.. he posted some pictures.
