I got two turkeys about the same weight and wanted t know if the cooking temperature or time would change.
Weight alone will only give you a rough idea as to the cooking time, at a given temperature. You'll still have to make a judgment on internal temperature before deciding whether the bird is completely cooked. That said, two turkeys of similar weight (with half a pound) cooked at the same temperature in the same oven should cook in about the same time. Still, the actual times will not be precisely the same.
