According to the person I just spoke with at Michael Mina, they are not doing a special Feast of the Seven Fishes dinner Christmas Eve.
Incanto's looks lame. Three courses does not seven fishes make. And one of those courses is dessert.
Any other leads for this year in SF?

re: david kaplan
We went there about 3 years ago and we were very dissappointed. I think there were 5 courses, and one of them did have 3 kinds of seafood (a pasta dish), and that is how they claimed "the seven fishes" special. Not one single dish was exciting, they were all very mediocre, definitely not worth the price. The worst thing was dessert, a plate of pedestrain cookies, that was it. They tasted like some packaged store bought type. I am surprised that they are still offering this.

Yeah, I know way too late, but there is an inquiry every year and I just found this when looking at the website for a new Tuscan restaurant in Yountville - Cantinetta Piero at the Hotel Luca

re: Robert Lauriston
Reading past reports it looks like Incanto has really scaled back the dinner this year with only three courses. Also, in the past it was around 80 dollars
Hasn't some Sicilian restuarant opened in the Bay Area? I keep thinking one of the many new-ish Italian restuarants over the past years had a Sicilian leaning.
