Question about the grand tasting menu at Vetri's
I have never been to Vetri's and would like to go for my husband's birthday in February.
We have the choice of going on a Thursday night, or on a Friday night.
If you go on Friday, you can only get the grand tasting menu.
I know that it is supposed to be amazing. However, we've had the tasting menus at Amada and at Chifa and have come away feeling way too stuffed - almost sick.
Does anyone have an opinion on how the tasting menu at Vetri's compares? Is it too much food? Is it to amazing to pass up?
Thanks!
Randi

We do the grand tasting menu on most visits. While it is a lot of food, we took my 87 year old mother last year with high hopes that we'd get extra tidbits because she doesn't eat very much these days - she cleaned up every crumb! The grand tasting also gives you such an array of Marc's food that you'd miss ordering off the menu

I'm not sure I've ever felt as stuffed as I did leaving Vetri after the grand tasting menu. It's a ton of food, and that food tends to be pretty rich. That was also one of the best meals I've ever had, and in retrospect I wouldn't want to have given up any of the courses we tried. Tough call!
