Buying Dungeness Crab off the boats in Pillar Point....where can I have them cooked?

Figure I'll try to buy them off the boats...but where can I have them cooked and cracked??

    Instead of going all the way to Pillar Point, why not just buy a carton of cooked crab meat from a reputable vendor. Many seafood vendors pick and pack crab daily. The main advantage of buying live ctab is to control the cooking and seasoning.

      Pillar point is actually on the way for me....ill be heading to SF from SD. Any stores around pillar that have good already cooked crab for sale?

      Also, if I go to a restaurant around that area, are the prices relatively the same? Thanks.

        If you want a restaurant, Barbara's Fish Trap is hard to beat.

      You can try contacting Princeton Seafood Co located as you enter the parking lot. They had an arrangement with customers of the Huli Cat sportfishing boat to cook/clean crabs for a nominal fee.

        If you're not buying them live to cook at home, go to one of the places that sells cooked crabs.
