Roasted heritage or free range turkey in the DC area

I usually make the turkey for Thanksgiving with my husband's family none of whom are cooks. However, due to last minute work travel I'm going to be away through Thursday afternoon which won't give me enough time to roast a big bird when I get back and get dinner on the table before midnight! Does anyone know a place I could get a roasted bird--either heritage or just organic, free range? Or should I just accept we'll have to have something else for Thanksgiving dinner this year?

    1. You may still be able to order a prepared "organicish" turkey (probably not a "heritage" as that suggests a specific breed) from Whole Foods. Get on the phone right now and call your nearest store. You don't sound like someone who's worried about price so it's probably not worth trying to find a better deal.
