ft. lauderdale to miami best picnic spots

We are going down for our annual trek to Dania and I was wondering where a good place would be to bring a picnic lunch or dinner. I was think of someplace with a view where we might be able to enjoy a good homemade meal and maybe a glass of wine?

        1. South Point Park at the end of South Beach. There is Joe's (Stone Crabs) Takeaway near there. Or there is a Smith & Wollensky's Steakhouse front row center on Government Cut which is where the cruise ships sail out...otherwise pack your own or stop by the legendary Epicure Market for lunch fare to go.
