Frozen croissants at Costco

Just saw that Costco has added some frozen unbaked items (looks like croissants, maybe bagels too) that you bake at home. Anyone had any experience with them? The website says currently available in Vancouver, Ottawa and Gatineau. I'm in Toronto, but have family in Ottawa and was wondering if it's worth asking them to bring some on their next visit.

    1. Out of curiosity do those Costco's have "in-store" bakeries?

I haven't seen those frozen unbaked items here in Los Angeles.

I have only been to one Ottawa location and it does have an in-store bakery, not sure about the others.

          • Trader Joe's and Williams Sonoma sell frozen unbaked croissants. Probably the same. Let proof overnight and bake in the morning. Very nice.
