Lunch in Paris
Hi there!
I will be dropping by Paris on the 5th of Dec (Sat) for 1 day and was thinking of having lunch at a 2/3 star restaurant. My initial choice was Guy Savoy but apparently they do not open for lunch on Saturdays. Can anyone kindly recommend me a place that opens for lunch on Saturday? Preferable one that doesn't require jackets as I'll be travelling light. Thanks!
There are few restaurants open for lunch on saturday in Paris. It's a very bad meal for business. Among the 3***, I think you'll find that only l'Ambroisie and Le Bristol are open. I'm not sure about their dress code, but asking is the simplest thing to do.
Among other restaurants, Le Cinq is open and requires a jacket for men but will provide you one (and in my multiple experience, on that fits pretty well). It's possible that le Bristol will do it as well, I don't know. La Grande Cascade is open too (it has only one star but I think it's worth two).

Thanks souphie! I've managed to push my trip to Paris forward so I'll be there 1 day earlier (Fri) and have made a reservation via Guy Savoy's website. Awaiting their confirmation email now. Can't wait!
