I do hope someone can point out some great places as that's what I always miss living in Miami: great bread. It's not uncommon that when we travel we'll bring home a big bag of loaves. I'd love a great local bakery but have been disappointed. Panera is a chain but I'd say its bread is better than at least 98% of the bakeries out here. Sometimes there are good finds at farmer's market too.

I;ve tried it, it's good, but I won't say out of this world. You may find it of special interest because the owner picked up his baking bug when he visited Montreal. He then went to France to learn the craft.
