Good place for cheap drinks and eats: College kids

So I'm back from school for thanksgiving and I wanted to grab dinner with a friend. We're both in college so we have a limited budget. Any suggestions for good food and drinks but relatively inexpensive. Thanks

            1. How about Elephant Walk in Cambridge or Boston? All their entrees are below $20 and they have terrific food. Decent drink list, too.

                1. audobon circle, miracle of science. chinatown for dim sum, penang for malaysian.

                  had great burgers at johnnie d's last night with cheap ipa on tap and free sunday night live blues jam.
