Where to order deep fried turkey in Northern VA?

After watching the infamous Good Eats episode and hearing tons of rave reviews about how moist succulent and crispy deep fried turkey is, this thanksgiving I want to give it a try but I'm also not ready to make my own set up and potentially be the next self-inflicted arson victim.

Are there any catering services or restaurants out there that do deep-fried turkeys?

Have you checked the "pre-cooked turkey" thread?

I think I saw a couple of deep fried turkey discoveries there, I believe, in PG county. Magruder's used to do fried turkeys but I haven't see any mention of it in their ad this year, just roasted like every other grocery store.

There's some discussion about Popeye's turkeys (every one says they're really good) which are apparently fried and then roasted, from what little information I've been able to squeeze out of their web site. They come frozen, so if you decide to go that route, you'll want to find a store that carries the turkeys (not all do - check Popeyes.com for a locator) and pick one up by Tuesday to give it time to thaw. I've pretty much decided that I'm going to give one a try myself this year.
