Homesick New England Hubby needs cinnamon doughnuts with his cider.

I've been home all day fighting off a cold, flu, or whatever. Hubby is bored, sad. He misses the Highland Forest near his hometown of Syracuse. The lakes. The apple orchards. Most of all, he misses the cinnamon doughnuts he could dip into the cider. I thought they'd be at Ralphs, but no.

We're in the Pasadena area, we're like to get out for a drive. Any ideas?

    1. In South Pasadena there's an Orowheat/Entemann's outlet on Mission. I vaguely remember Entemann's having cinnamon doughnuts.
      Give them a call.

        1. Well, in the San Gabriel area, there's Rose Donut (which has a cinnamon sugar donut) and Dad's Donut in Burbank has a cinnamon crumb donut.

            1. My NE hubby misses cider donuts... for his cinnamon donut fix... he does JUST fine with Churros... especially warm fresh ones like the ones at El Mercadito... :)

                1. I was in Ralphs in Torrance this morning and saw Entemann's has a package of 12 assorted donuts. 4 powdered, 4 plain and 4 cinnamon.
I know you're not going to go as far as Torrance, but that Orowheat/Entemann's outlet in South Pasadena might have the same packaging.

                      Forgot...here's a picture of the Entemann's box.
