    1. I owe the Grand Véfour the best meal of my life.
      As for Lapérouse, I can vouch for the scratched-up mirrors in the private salons. -- No I did not check my diamonds that way; nor was I dining with a greasy millionnaire drinking champagne out of my toe shoe.
