Tom's Barbeque which has been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, recently opened a second location in Oakland, CA. I have no clue why. However, it seems like they are trying to stick pretty close to the food served at the Memphis location.

So, I was just wondering if Chowhounds who have been to the Memphis location have tips on the best things to order ... or things to avoid.

I know there are other good bbq joints in Memphis, but because we only have Tom's out here, that is all I'm interested in.

Also, I read somewhere that there is some Greek influence in the rub Adam uses. Is that true?
