Where to go before & after Big Game?
Looking for some must tries along the 280 corridor between Palo Alto and SF. Maybe something quick and cheep on the way down, with something a little more substantial on the return for dinner. Nothing fancy or a any place that would need a reservation. All cuisines are will be considered.
I think what I am really hoping to find is something that either I cannot get in SF, or something that I cannot find done as well in SF.

The northern-Peninsula places on my to-check-out list are Little Sheep in San Mateo, Tribu in San Bruno, and Little Yangon in Daly City.
You might hit Gourmet Corner on the way down, if they're open.

Cheap and good on the way down on 280...sorta of difficult one since there's a long stretch of nothingness. Something off 280/380 is Sajj Resturant (Middle Eastern Wood Burning BBQ). I haven't been but it's my list. Not a lot of kebab places use wood fired grills.
In Palo Alto, near Stanfurd on California Ave, Mediterranean Wraps is pretty good but you can get it in SF. There's also the Kirk's burger across the street in Town and Country.
On the way back in San Carlos, also on my list is The Refuge. Don't get down that way much.

Thank you all for the rec's! I ended up getting picnic supplies from New World Deli as I wasn't sure how much time I would have before the game. Turned out to be a smart move. I was practically full before I left the store due to all the samples...
On the way back we ended up trying Little Yangon as it was just off of 280, and had a great meal. I do not have a ton of experience with Burmese food other than Inya Lake, BSS, Mandalay, and Larken Express, but have enjoyed them all. We tried the Tea Leaf Salad (maybe the best yet), the samosas which came with a very nice & spicy tamarind dipping sauce, the coconut chicken soup (rich & thick like curry but oh-so good), and the spicy catfish curry which was dry but came with sides of rice, cauliflower, and a slightly sour soup made to offset the curry flavor (not bad, but probably the one dish I would not rush to order again). We finished it all off with a faluga (sp?) which was kind of like hallo-hallo. My wife likes halo-halo and she liked the faluga(?) too. Me, I don't care so much for solids floating around in my beverages, but I helped her polish it off nonetheless.
The one thing I would like to bring up was the friendly staff. Very family-like and helpful with their recommendations. Probably the best service I have had in a long time. I just started working nearby, so I will be back for lunch soon. And...

Yesterday was a great day for tailgating with a picnic.
Thanks for adding to the intell on Little Yangon. Sounds like you ordered faluda, which is based on an Indian and Persian dessert.
