Near or in Wakefield

I am looking for a good restaurant in or near Wakefield before going to a concert there. Any suggestions?

What kind of food do you like? Did you do a search?
I love the sushi at Sushi Island. I've heard Duck Walk (?) is good Thai.

I second Sushi Island right on Main St. in downtown Wakefield. Excellent and authentic Japanese food served in a nice but casual setting.

Since my initial disappointment when first opened have had 2 great meals @ Cafe Italia on Water Street. The salmon, rabe and the rolls were memorable!

Third Sushi Island. If really hankering sushi I'd drive from Boston (where I live) to Wakefield.

Zaleks also gets love on this board. Very casual, unassuming atmosphere like a sub shop w/ some tables. Don't let that fool you, solid fish/ steak chop offerings w/ some greek thrown in ( great stuffed grape leaves). One of those CH hidden gems.
