Richmond, VA - ISO of Suckling Pig (uncooked)

So, I'm planning my annual Manhattan to New Bern, NC, journey, and will, as usual, be spending the night (12/21) at The Jefferson. However, this time, I'm hoping to arrive earlier in the day, and it occured to me that I might be able to find a suckling pig to cook for Christmas. (I've not been able to locate one in New Bern.) Any suggestions? I guess if I found one, I'd have a cooler as well, to keep it in overnight and on the rest of the drive in the a.m.

Thanks!

    1. Try Belmont Butchery...804-422-8519. It would be a short cab ride...it's adjacent to Carytown.

Fabulous - I just called - very nice, they can get one for me, and I'm to call back after Thanksgiving to make arrangements!! And - I'll have my car, so I can just pick it up in the afternoon.
