Thanks for organizing the ride and for the link. Sorry I missed it. I'm hoping some of the participants will weigh in on their favorite taco stop. Which did you like best?

For variety of offering (not just Mexican but various Central American items like pupusas and empanadas) I really liked Tamales Mi Lupita at 34th and Foothill. For sheer deliciousness I really liked Tacos el Tio Juan at 41st and Foothill. I had my first birria (goat) burrito there and loved it. For details, you can look at my blog at
http://www.albertnet.us and look for the post entitled Vuelta del Taco Truck (there's some introductory stuff there you could skip if you just want to read about the taco trucks themselves).

Dana, these places are all new territory for me, so I'm happy to have details. I especially enjoyed your description of the scent of simultaneous lime squeezing, quiet appreciation, and especially the comments from your girls. Welcome to the chowhound boards, and I hope we hear more from you, taco trucks or otherwise, about what you're eating these days.
