Vlaamse Frites in Toronto?

I wonder if there is anywhere in TO making anything approximating the artery clogging Dutch wonder? When I lived in Amsterdam it was my favourite guilty pleasure to head over to Kalverstraat or the Albert Cuypmarkt for a cone of crisp, double fried goodness. My favourite was the 'Special', topped with mayo, curry ketchup and raw chopped onions, but just with plain mayo was great too.
I found a couple of places in Montreal that do respectable versions, but none here so far. With so many Dutch expats here, I would expect to find them somewhere! Any sightings?

I think the Bier Markt on the Esplanade and the Beer Bistro both do Belgian fries with mayo, which is essentially the same thing.

One would think so, but it seems that most of the Dutch expats live more in rural Ontario and not in the city. I've been to many places that serve proper thick cut frietjes but none that would serve them in a cone with mayo.

Have you tried Chippy's fish n chips? They do make pretty good fries and they do also make a limited number of their own sauces including garlic mayo.
