Dressed Up in Central Jersey
I would like recommendations for restaurants in Central Jersey where I can go dressed up (satin dress for me, suit for dh). Any cuisine is fine, but the food and the atmosphere must be un-fussy. Thanks!

I always dress up when I go to Rat's. Something really nice about strolling the grounds at night in nice clothes:)

I would recommend Restaurant Nicholas in Red Bank. Elegant and unfussy atmosphere and the food is delicious. Even the bar area is understated, but beautiful. We like to enjoy a glass of the house champagne at the bar before dinner. Here's a link to their website..... www.restaurantnicholas.com

Highlawn Pavilion - not sure if this is out of the scope of CNJ, but they request jackets for men, and the ambiance suits it (no pun intended)... Love it there.
