Group dining in Paris

My wife is going to be taking a group of students to France for 10 days ... the last few days will be in Paris. She would like to put together a farewell dinner to end the trip. The students will be from 18-21 years old with most likely a wide range tastes. Her intent is to give them a nice dinner and exposure to dining in Paris. Probable budget is up to 50 euros per person. Any suggestions?

There will be 12 people for the dinner.

          • It is considerate of her to plan for this event and to look for special space that takes into account the needs of her group and also fellow diners. My first through is the cellar at Les Papilles. Classic and delicious no choice menu includes a garnished soup; copper pot main course which can be cote d'agneau, magret, poitrine of pork or veal, lamb shanks, etc with excellent vegetables and sauce; a small cheese course and a dessert. Wine is by the bottle, shelf price + €7 corkage. Sweet service. This place has soul and a warm reception. http://www.lespapillesparis.fr/

papilles is great - food, wine, people and place all wonderful and very much what is great about the paris food scene in the 21st century.

Thanks for the suggestion. The cellar looks like a good setting.
