Food in Indonesia project - suggestions?
For my Indonesian class I'm doing a final project on food in Indonesia - different types, regional specialties, famous dishes, etc. It's a 500-word powerpoint, so nothing too terribly scholarly. Any suggestions for things to include or resources to check out? I already have Oseland's Cradle of Flavor, but any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I don't have any sources, but maybe a theme: foods really change and vary as you go across Java alone, say from west to east. You might just look up foods from west, central, and east Java. Of course, foods really vary as you traverse the whole of Indonesia.

That's a good idea for tying it all together. Terima kasih! (Thanks!)
