Teff grain in Boston

I am having a hard time getting my hands on ancient grains like Teff, Einkorn, Triticale and Sorghum/Milo in the Boston area. I am looking for the grain (berries) and not flour. Any pointers would be greatly helpful!

Since Teff is more popular than the rest, I am hoping I can find it at the least. I tried several local Whole Foods, Harvest Coop, Tropical Foods, etc

I only need a pound or two

    1. try the south end food emporium on columbus ave in the south end

        1. I have definitely seen teff grain at Christina's. I thought I had seen it at the Whole Foods in Central Square as well, but not certain. You can also get amaranth grain at both places, along with millet, quinoa, farro, wheat berries, etc. I haven't seen einkorn, triticale, or sorghum. Also, if there is an Ethiopian market in town, they should sell teff, although offhand I don't know of an Ethiopian market.

the south end food emporium is an ethiopian market

              • I've heard tell you can get wheat berries at Arax in Watertown - wouldn't be surprised if they had some of the other items as well.

                  1. Thank you all but I already tried South End Food Emporium (recommended by Addis Red Sea), Whole Foods Central Sq and also Arax on your recommendation but none of them carry the grain. I'll probably have to order Bob's Red Mill on amazon.com

                    Thanks for your prompt responses
