Well, I've never had anything I don't like, but here are some especial favorites:
-guacamole with crab
-any of the ceviches (shrimp is my least favorite, but still good, others all amazing)
-los hongos huarache
-hamachi tacos
-hanger steak tacos
For drinks, the Distrito margaritas with fruit are always excellent if the fruit offering appeals to you. I love the mango one when they have it. I also really like the Jefe margarita.

Sounds so good!

2nd the los hongos huarache, this is one of my favorite things on all of Garces's menus. The chicken tacos sound boring but are actually really really good.

i am less than an hour removed from eating the los hongos huarache at lunch. so good!! distrito used to have a yucca-based crab soup that was outstanding, not sure if they still do. it wasn't on the lunch menu, but maybe it is is still on for dinner?

I'm mostly seconding here, but I am crazy about: The los hongos huarache, the hamachi and tuna ceviches, and the hamachi tacos. Things I wasn't as crazy about: the jicama salad (good, but flavors were a little muted given how assertive everything else was), the duck mole (small portion, too much rice), and the bone marrow tacos (awkward to eat and the flavors just weren't compelling to me).
So many things look great that I haven't tried. Enjoy!

I'm making a list! How about dessert?

Tres leches. Delicious!

They try to push getting a ton of plates, but be careful about over-ordering.. two of us (wife and I) had:
Nachos Ignacio,
Chilango Chop Salad,
Flat Iron Steak Tacos,
Short Rib Huaraches
And with 2 drinks each, we were stuffed! Everything was delicious...

Good point. They generally suggest three dishes each, which I can certainly eat, but is a lot of food. Hubby and I usually get five dishes (e.g., guac, two ceviches, huarache and tacos), and are quite satisfied, though not stuffed.
I don't usually get dessert, but last time had the tres leches, which was lovely. Hubby had the ice cream trio, which was fantastic.

Our dinner was outstanding. Thank you for the suggestions....we ordered almost everything. The duck mole was incredible, guacamole with crab was delicious, the los hongos huaraches was so good we were tempted to order more. The lobster ceviche was amazing. Husband had a flight of tequila and the rest of us had fresh fruit margaritas. Grapefruit was a revelation. So many times we try new restaurants and although they are good.....we just don't keep going back. But I know we'll keep going back to Distritio. Loved it. Oh, the ice cream, carmelized banana with fudge sauce dessert...incredible.
