Cupcakes and Bakery Items in Durham Region

I can't seem to find a decent bakery with cupcakes in Durham region. I don't want to have to place an order, and I don't want to have to buy 12. I would also like a place to purchase home-made cakes, pies and tarts....no canned filling or prepared icing. Great bread...especially baguettes...would be a plus! We used to freguent La Decadence Gourmande, but that is gone.

I get my stuff (don't know about cupcakes though, sorry) from The Baker's Table at Ritson and Bloor Street in Oshawa. It's a small place with high traffic but good bakery goodies. Lots of breads, cakes, mini pastries, tarts etc. Try them out.

I concur, Bakers table is a fantastic bakery, make the trip it's worth it.
