TN: 1997 Fattoria Le Pupille Morellino di Scansano Riserva
We opened this (along with a couple of other very nice Italians) at dinner at Brasserie Beck in Washington DC.
A very nice, mature wine, drinking very well right now. Lovely nose of blackberry and loam and muted oak. Full bodied with dusty cherrys and a little smoke. Medium finish with nicely polished tannins.
I bet this was good. Thanks for the TN.

Nice. I'd take a Le Pupille or Moris Farms morellino over a chianti in the same price range just about everday.
