Lunch in Trafalgar Square

Hey everybody. I am making my first trip to London next month to spend Christmas and New Years. I arrive the morning of Wednesday, December 23 and am looking for someplace to have lunch in Trafalgar Square. Any recommendations? J Sheekeys will be closed by then. Thanks.

    1. if you want in the square itself the national and national portrait gallery restaurants are probably your best bet.

albannach, a scottish bar/restaurant, is on the other side of the square but i've not eaten there.

        1. You could wander down the Strand to the Wolseley on Piccadilly. The museum restaurants, as noted, are very nice if you would rather stay right at the Square.

            1. ...and of course there is Terroirs, see other threads.
