DC Restaurant Week Winter 2010

  • 5

I know dates for DC Restaurant Week aren't going to be Officially released till early December, but does anyone have insider information on when this will take place. I would like to come up for restaurant week, but if it happens in January and I wait till early December to make flight arrangements I fear that it might be too expensive for me to make the trip.

Thank you in advance for your help.

  1. If you're flying to DC just for restaurant week, that's some RW dedication right there!

Not that dedicated. :) Just making the most of a trip. Used to live in the area need to come back to the area for work, so I figured I might as well come back when restaurant week is happening. Miss some of the restaurants in the area and there are a couple I would like to try.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I *think* RW is traditionally the second week in January. It was changed last year to February due to the inauguration.

That said, don't book your trip around my shoddy intel unless a few others can back me up on this... ;)

That sounds right. My birthday is Jan 14 and SO usually takes advantage of the deal to treat me to a bigger night out than our usual dates. I remember my b-day hit on a Sunday and that Sunday night was the final night of RW that year.

    2. Some of the restaurants are already up on OpenTable: http://www.opentable.com/promo.aspx?m...

I've made reservations at Tosca, Mio, and Kellari. Probably will end up at only 2 but wanted to make sure I don't get closed out (and YES I will cancel well in advance).
